The Feuerleinserker in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, in 1600 in the blade alley, near the St. James' Church, is one of the most famous and picturesque images of the city. On the bay is a maxim to read. The blades lane leads to the mezzanine of the west choir of the St. Jacob's Church and into the Kirchgasse and straight on to Mr. Lane. Right in front of the bay, to get to the Imperial City Museum with the monastery kitchen, the Arthur Wasse Gallery, the collection of weapons Baumann and much more.
Der Feuerleinserker in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, um 1600 in der Klingengasse, in der Nähe der St.-Jakobs-Kirche, ist eines der bekanntesten und malerischsten Motive der Stadt. Auch um diese Jahreszeit, ohne Blumenkästen und Grünschmuck ein schöner Anblick. An dem Erker kann man folgenden Spruch lesen:
"Du findest für den Leib
das Brot in diesem Haus
das Brot für deine Seele
teilt Gottes Wort dir aus".
Die Klingengasse führt unter der Empore des Westchors der St.-Jakobs-Kirche hindurch in die Kirchgasse und gerade weiter zur Herrngasse. Vor dem Erker rechts, kommt man zum Reichsstadt Museum mit der Klosterküche, der Arthur Wasse Gemälde-Galerie, der Waffensammlung Baumann und vieles mehr. Fotos: © Leo Wirth
